Strategic Plan 2026-2027

In Oct 2025 Abiding Vine International sent a Medical Mission Team to the Dominican Republic to provide medical care to two Haitian Refugee Villages, a women’s sex trafficking rescue and alternative career training center, as well as, a local community in a rural area of the Dominican Republic.

Many fled Haiti into the Dominican Republic to find safety and refuge with only the clothes on their back after the 2010 earthquake and are living in primitive conditions. There is no clean water, electric, plumbing, sanitation, no access to healthcare, there are no medical/dental clinics, and only one school that is on the outskirts that is nearly impossible to access. Most Haitians are undocumented with no birth certificates, therefore access to any government support (schools and Hospital care in the city) is a challenge

1. Medical follow up with local ministry partners in the communities we served 8 months prior in the Dominican Republic.

2. Medical clinic outreach in the Haitian Refugee village of Juan Dolio, DR in Oct 2026.

3. Meet with leaders of the Haitian refugee village in Los Cocos, DR to share the good news of the Gospel in the demonstration of God’s redeeming and healing love (by providing tangible care in meeting their most basic needs as food, water, safety, healthcare). “…..knowing we shall return in God’s unfolding perfect timing for Haitian Refugee Village of Los Cocos, steadfast are we, in God’s sovereign undefeated love and plan for this people….

4. In partnership and in response to a pastor’s prayer for a healthcare community clinic in his Haitian village, we plan to support the resources necessary for the construction of a building adjacent to a small church (Legliz Batis Ebeneze) in Juan Dolio, DR. 

“I remember a time of a profound presence of God in a small Haitian Church in a refugee village during one of my trips to the Dominican Republic. This is where I first met Pastor Eric. The people of this congregation had such a sweet, lovely, and loving worship of God. With my heart enlarged by love and the presence of God, my spirit was quickened “this is what I want for the unreached people of Los Cocos” God’s sovereign love and manifestation of His light must be brought by Haitians to Haitians.
